Baseball Recap: Dresden Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Dresden's offense. They fell just short of the Greenfield Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss last Saturday.

Dresden's loss dropped their record down to 13-14. As for Greenfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Dresden wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Halls on the 9th. As for Greenfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 21-0 victory against Oakhaven on the 13th.
