Soccer Recap: CES Academy Comes Up Short

CES Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Wayne Christian Academy Eagle. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wayne Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in March.

CES Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Wayne Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. CES Academy will welcome Faith Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Wayne Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
