Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mt. Zion lost against Williamsville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Braves fell just short of the Bullets by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Mt. Zion couldn't quite close it out.

Mt. Zion is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3. As for Williamsville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Zion will venture away from home to take on Mahomet-Seymour at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Williamsville, they will head out to challenge Peoria Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
