Volleyball Preview: Delta Charter Dragons vs. Humphreys Able Charter Legacy        
        
		
             The Delta Charter Dragons will take on the Humphreys Able Charter Legacy at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 Delta Charter is probably headed into the  matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lodi Academy just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Thursday. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of  3-2. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Delta Charter took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-21, 25-27, 25-22,  17-15.
 Despite their  defeat, Delta Charter saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Joie Valencia, who  had six  aces and five  kills, was perhaps the best of all. That's the most  aces  Valencia has posted  in  she last six  contests. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alondra Ochoa, who  had eight  aces and three  kills.
 She wasn't the only good server: Delta Charter  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 27  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in six consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Humphreys Able Charter can finally bid farewell to their 18-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Thursday. They skirted past Vanguard College Prep  3-2.
 Delta Charter now  has a losing record at 4-5. As for Humphreys Able Charter, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-4.
 Delta Charter took their  win against Humphreys Able Charter  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. Will Delta Charter repeat their success,  or does  Humphreys Able Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
