Frankton is 7-2 against Tipton since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will welcome the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. Frankton will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Frankton's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Delta with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for Frankton, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
Paige Parker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Ava Stanley was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Malorie Clark, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Frankton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tipton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Benton Central 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won three in a row.
Like Frankton, Tipton also got a great game from a two-way player: Chasity Kelich. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. Kelich was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makayla Schinlaub, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Lacey Bitner was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Tipton's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Frankton, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Frankton took their victory against Tipton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
