Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rumson-Fair Haven). They took down the Middletown South Eagles 77-62 on Tuesday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Eagles are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Rumson-Fair Haven and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Middletown South, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Rumson-Fair Haven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 88-58 victory against St. John-Vianney on the 23rd. As for Middletown South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-53 loss against Holmdel on the 23rd.
