Soccer Recap: Saint James Takes a Loss

After flying high against Prattville Christian Academy two weeks ago, Saint James came back down to earth. The Saint James Trojans lost 8-0 to the Prattville Lions on Monday. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Saint James' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Prattville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saint James will square off against Brewbaker Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint James has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Prattville, they will challenge Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prattville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
