Softball Recap: Glastonbury Comes Up Short

Glastonbury was the 14-5 winner over RHAM when they last played one another on May 8th, but their luck changed this time around. The Guardians fell just short of the Raptors by a score of 8-7 on Thursday. The Guardians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sylvia Lewis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Brooke Schlenger, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Glastonbury now has a losing record of 10-11. As for RHAM, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Glastonbury nor RHAM have any future games scheduled.
