Baseball Recap: Brandywine Heights Area Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Brandywine Heights Area was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 11-2 to the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings. The Bullets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Matthew Sterner was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Brandywine Heights Area now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Allentown Central Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandywine Heights Area will take on Kutztown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Allentown Central Catholic, they will challenge Louis E. Dieruff at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Allentown Central Catholic is facing Louis E. Dieruff at the right time seeing as Louis E. Dieruff is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
