Volleyball Recap: Coshocton Redskins vs. Sandy Valley Cardinals

Coshocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandy Valley Cardinals. The Redskins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

Mallorie Stamper paced Coshocton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stamper really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 14. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Pheonix Celeschi, racking up two apiece.

Sandy Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taliana Tozzi out in front who had 19 digs, 13 kills, three aces, and two blocks.
