Basketball Recap: Governor Mifflin Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Governor Mifflin lost against Exeter Township back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Governor Mifflin Mustangs received a blow as they fell 69-52 to the Exeter Township Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Eagles are ranked 312th).

Governor Mifflin's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-4. As for Exeter Township, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Muhlenberg the next time they take the court. Exeter Township will host Muhlenberg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Governor Mifflin will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
