Basketball Recap: Cuyahoga Heights Victorious

Cuyahoga Heights's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They snuck past the Brookside Cardinals with a 41-36 win.

Despite the loss, Brookside saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Markie Aliff dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Cuyahoga Heights' victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Brookside, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuyahoga Heights will challenge Central Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Central Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cuyahoga Heights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brookside, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals duke it out with the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th.
