Baseball Recap: Immokalee Comes Up Short

Immokalee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-2 to the Aubrey Rogers Patriots. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 14 runs.

Immokalee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruben Anzualda, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Immokalee's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Aubrey Rogers, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Immokalee will venture away from home to face off against Palmetto Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Immokalee is facing Palmetto Ridge at the right time seeing as Palmetto Ridge is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Aubrey Rogers, they will welcome Lemon Bay at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Aubrey Rogers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
