Volleyball Recap: Damien Has No Trouble Against Maryknoll

Damien's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Maryknoll Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Monarchs yet this season.

With the victory, Damien broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Maryknoll, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Damien wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Hawaii Baptist Academy on the 9th. As for Maryknoll, they will challenge Le Jardin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
