Basketball Recap: Neoga Takes a Loss

Neoga lost against St. Anthony back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Neoga Indians were dealt a 67-35 loss at the hands of the St. Anthony Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 409th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 81st).

Neoga dropped their record down to 13-19 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for St. Anthony, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-4.

Neoga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Anthony, they will take on Altamont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Anthony knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Altamont likes a good challenge.
