The Continental Pirates will take on the Bowling Green Bobcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Continental is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Continental's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Van Buren as they made off with a 4-0 win. Collin Hammond was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Bowling Green has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 13. They came up short against Springfield on Thursday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Bowling Green can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 291st, while Springfield are ranked 34th).

The victory made it two in a row for Continental and bumps their season record up to 10-1-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Bowling Green, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Continental skirted past Bowling Green 1-0 in their previous meeting back in August of 2018. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
