Ella Spilling had an outrageously good game as she had 23 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Labat, who hit 100% for six killssix digs and 34 assists.
Slidell kept the net locked down and finished the game with 12 blocks. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now had at least six blocks in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Ponchatoula came up short against Fontainebleau on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
