Baseball Recap: Oakland Oakers vs. Oakridge Warriors

Oakland gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Oakridge Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for Oakland.

Ty Percell was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). Percell was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Tanner Swearingen and Shepard Brooksby did most of the damage at the plate: Swearingen went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI, while Brooksby went 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBI.
