After a string of 22 wins, Flower Mound's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Hebron Hawks. Considering the last time the Jaguars couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Flower Mound was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-8.

ALEAH EDMOND paced Flower Mound's offense, picking up eight kills. EDMOND got some help from HOLLY ATKINSON and her 13 assists. EDMOND was also a major player on defense: she and Grace Pinegar shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Leading Hebron to victory were Zoe Miller and Maddox Whitlow. Miller had eight digs and three aces, while Whitlow had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs Whitlow has posted since back in September.

Flower Mound's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 33-8. As for Hebron, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 26-11 record this season.

Flower Mound does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hebron, they will welcome McKinney North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
