Softball Game Preview: Troy Warriors vs. Brea Olinda Wildcats

The Troy Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Brea Olinda Wildcats at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Brea Olinda took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Troy, who comes in off a win.

Troy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-7 margin over Crean Lutheran on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Brea Olinda unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Foothill by a score of 4-3.

Brea Olinda's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Troy, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.

Troy suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Brea Olinda in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
