Volleyball Recap: Peyton Has No Trouble Against Liberty Tree Academy

Peyton won the last time they faced Liberty Tree Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers blew past the War Eagles 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Peyton never let Liberty Tree Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-12, 25-13.

Brynlee Ray was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and two aces. Kylie Quick also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Peyton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 5-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Peyton's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Peyton will challenge Swallows Charter Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they will face off against The Colorado Springs School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
