Grand Valley's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Moffat County on Friday. They were beaten by the Bulldogs 48-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Resurrection Christian challenged Lutheran on Friday. The Cougars took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Grand Valley will have to contain Britton Walston as he made an impact in Resurrection Christian's last game. He rushed for 188 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Walston's longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards.

Grand Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Resurrection Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Grand Valley was dealt a bruising 51-7 loss at the hands of Resurrection Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Cardinals were down 21-0.
