McClatchy is a perfect 5-0 against Cordova since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lions will face off against the Lancers at 6:30 p.m. McClatchy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, McClatchy made easy work of Antelope and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While McClatchy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Cordova came up short against West Park on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Lancers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-5.

McClatchy's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Cordova, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Everything went McClatchy's way against Cordova when the teams last played back in September, as McClatchy made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
