Game recap: Commerce High School Football Team takes down Hebron Christian Academy

COMMERCE, Ga. - A big 21-point first quarter helped carry the Tigers to a 36-11 victory over Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, Ga.) on Saturday.

Commerce was up 35-8 at the half after taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.

Seth Kuntz made a difference for the Lions. The senior caught one touchdown.

Hebron Christian Academy's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard pass from Noah Herrin to Kuntz in the second quarter.

Coming into the game CHS had allowed 21.5 points per game this year.



The victory was a step in the right direction for the Tigers, which was coming off a 45-7 defeat at the hands of Athens Academy in its previous game.

In a A Region 8 game next week Commerce (5-4) takes on Pinecrest Academy, and Hebron Christian Academy (1-7) will go up against Athens Academy also in a A Region 8 game.
