Basketball Recap: Mound-Westonka Takes a Loss

Mound-Westonka lost against Central back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mound-Westonka White Hawks lost to the Central Raiders on the road by a 66-51 margin.

Mound-Westonka's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mound-Westonka will square off against Chisago Lakes Area at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will take on New London-Spicer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. New London-Spicer will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Central surely won't give up without a fight.
