Volleyball Recap: Bayless Comes Up Short

Bayless lost against Brentwood on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bronchos lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-20.

Makayla Lindsey paced Bayless' offense, picking up six kills. Lindsey got some help from Angelina Pham and her three assists. Finally, Lilsbeth Giron kept Bayless' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Bayless' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Brentwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Bayless will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brentwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Maplewood-Richmond Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
