Hanahan lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Dillon, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Hawks put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 12-2 win on Wednesday. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Hanahan has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Dillon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15-1.

Coming up, Hanahan will take on Silver Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dillon, they will challenge Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
