Volleyball Game Preview: Edwardsville Tigers vs. Althoff Catholic Crusaders

Edwardsville is 7-2 against Althoff Catholic since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. Edwardsville is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Edwardsville picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Howell by a score of 2-0.

Edwardsville relied on the efforts of Nicholas Paschall, who had 12 assists and five digs, and Lucas Marsh, who had five assists and three digs. That's the most digs Marsh has posted over his last seven contests.

Meanwhile, Althoff Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln College Prep on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Althoff Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Edwardsville, their record now sits at 20-11.
