Volleyball Game Preview: Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers vs. Bullis Bulldogs

The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers will challenge the Bullis Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Georgetown Day is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.

On Friday, Georgetown Day got the win against Bishop Ireton by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Bullis earned a 3-1 victory over Virginia Academy on Thursday.

Bullis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-7, 27-25, 25-18.

Bullis' win bumped their record up to 3-13-1. As for Georgetown Day, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.

Georgetown Day took their win against Bullis when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Mighty Hoppers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
