Softball Recap: Whippany Park Takes a Loss

Whippany Park fell victim to Montville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 9-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Whippany Park and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Montville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Whippany Park will host Pope John XXIII at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montville, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Morris Knolls at 11:00 a.m.
