Soccer Game Preview: Plainfield North vs. Plainfield East

The Plainfield North Tigers will challenge the Plainfield East Bengals at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plainfield North will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Plainfield North is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Plainfield South on Saturday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Plainfield North's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Plainfield South are ranked 388th).

Meanwhile, Plainfield East managed to keep up with Benet Academy until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bengals lost 5-0 to the Redwings. Plainfield East have struggled against Benet Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Plainfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Plainfield North, their win bumped their record up to 6-9-1.
