Volleyball Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy Storm vs. Commerce Tigers

The Providence Christian Academy Storm will square off against the Commerce Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Providence Christian Academy beat Villa Rica 2-0.

Providence Christian Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Commerce came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Commerce walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10, 25-19.

Commerce's victory bumped their record up to 15-21. As for Providence Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 32-8.

Providence Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Commerce in their previous matchup back in August, winning 2-0. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
