Basketball Recap: Southern Coffey County Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Southern Coffey County won the last time they faced Liberty HomeSchool Alliance, and Karley Ohl did her part to make sure it happened again. The Southern Coffey County Titans strolled past the Liberty HomeSchool Alliance Arrows with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 39-21 thanks in part to Ohl, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Cheyenne Dykee, who posted six points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Southern Coffey County and bumps their season record up to 4-4. As for Liberty HomeSchool Alliance, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Southern Coffey County will host Oswego at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty HomeSchool Alliance, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will face off against Shawnee Mission Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
