Basketball Recap: Tipton Drops Highest Score of Season Against Wilton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tipton). They snuck past the Wilton Beavers with an 84-79 victory on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-51 on January 3rd.

Tipton's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Wilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

When Tipton and Wilton next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tipton will face off against Regina and their 12-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Wilton will try to stop West Liberty's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
