Basketball Recap: Highland Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Highland Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 66-43 to the Grace Christian Academy Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the EAGLES this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-26 back in January.

Highland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Grace Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Highland Christian Academy is facing Westwood at the right time seeing as Westwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grace Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Southwest Georgia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
