Aiken put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls 92-63. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Aiken had a senior duo take command as James Burnett Jr. went 12-for-21 on his way to 28 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals and Jaiden Arnold went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points. Thanks to that strong game, Arnold now owns an excellent 41.7% three-point shooting accuracy. Tayvon Smith was another key player, putting up seven points and 11 boards.
Aiken smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 23 consecutive games dating back to last season.
