Soccer Recap: Pana Comes Up Short

Pana lost against Carlinville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 5-0.

Pana now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Carlinville, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Pana will challenge Southwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pana will be up against Southwestern's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.4 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carlinville, they will host Gillespie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carlinville are facing Gillespie at the right time seeing as Gillespie are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
