There's no place like home for Schurr, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Mark Keppel Aztecs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Schurr might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mark Keppel scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-19.

Schurr's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Mark Keppel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Schurr is set to take on their familiar foe Montebello at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mark Keppel will square off against rival Bell Gardens at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
