Mt. Ararat not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2024 (when they won 12-2). Everything went their way against the Skowhegan River Hawks as they made off with a 13-3 victory. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Andrew Clemons spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
Mt. Ararat always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skowhegan only posted an OBP of .320.
