Soccer Game Preview: West Charlotte vs. Sun Valley + How To Watch

The West Charlotte Lions will challenge the Sun Valley Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Charlotte will be strutting in after a win while Sun Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, it was close, but West Charlotte sidestepped West Mecklenburg for a 2-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Sun Valley has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 18. They lost 4-1 to Porter Ridge on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Sun Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Porter Ridge are ranked 23rd).

West Charlotte's win bumped their record up to 3-9-3. As for Sun Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2.
