Baseball Recap: Kiski Area Cavaliers vs. Franklin Regional Panthers
Kiski Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Franklin Regional Panthers, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Tuesday.
Kiski Area saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Klimkowski, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.
Kiski Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Franklin Regional, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Coming up, Kiski Area will welcome Greater Latrobe at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
