Softball Game Preview: Flora Wolves vs. Fairfield Mules

The Flora Wolves will challenge the Fairfield Mules at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Flora came up short against Mt. Carmel on Wednesday, falling 13-2. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Fairfield had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Flora by a score of 8-4 on Tuesday.

Kenry Hutchcraft spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Serenity Dagg, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Kayden Wells was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Flora now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Fairfield, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-9.
