Basketball Recap: Ore City Takes a Loss

Ore City played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 53-32 to the Union Grove Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost nine in a row.

Ore City's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Union Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season.

Ore City will challenge Hawkins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hawkins will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Ore City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union Grove, they will be playing at home against McLeod at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union Grove will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
