Basketball Recap: King's Academy's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for King's Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 49-41 victory over the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-35 last Thursday.

King's Academy's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Conway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy is facing Conway Christian at the right time seeing as Conway Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Lee Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
