Soccer Recap: Globe Comes Up Short

Globe's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Morenci Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Globe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Morenci, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Globe will challenge Apache Junction at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Morenci, they will venture away from home to take on Desert Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
