Gilmer is a perfect 10-0 against Kilgore since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kilgore lost 16-1 to Henderson on Friday.

Gilmer's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Kilgore, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Everything went Gilmer's way against Kilgore in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Gilmer made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gilmer since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
