Parkview has gone 8-2 against Branson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Parkview Vikings will square off against the Branson Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Parkview is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Kickapoo, who was ranked fourth at the time (Parkview was ranked 19th). Parkview took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kickapoo on Saturday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Branson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 81-69 to Rolla. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (64), the Pirates still had to take the loss.

Branson's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Parkview, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Everything went Parkview's way against Branson in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Parkview made off with a 59-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Parkview since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
