Basketball Game Preview: Strongsville Mustangs vs. St. Joseph Academy Jaguars

The Strongsville Mustangs will be taking part in a tournament against the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Strongsville will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Strongsville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Elyria 72-22. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 63-35 victory over Brunswick. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Strongsville pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for St. Joseph Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
