Basketball Recap: Midland Beats Putnam County for Their Third Straight Win

Midland had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down the Putnam County Panthers 52-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Timberwolves also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Midland's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Putnam County, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-27.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland will square off against Earlville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Putnam County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Henry-Senachwine at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
