Football Game Preview: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Walnut Ridge Scots + How To Watch

The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves will face off against the Walnut Ridge Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Worthington Kilbourne is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since November 8, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Westerville South by a score of 21-19. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Despite the defeat, Worthington Kilbourne saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jackson Szabo rushed for 105 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and also threw for 102 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Walnut Ridge waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They claimed a resounding 46-0 win over the 76ers. Given the Scots' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the 76ers are ranked 404th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Worthington Kilbourne's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Walnut Ridge, their record now sits at an identical 7-3.
